WHEAT FLOUR

FLOR DE LA HABANA
Flor de la Habana wheat flour, classified as medium strength, is our product with the greatest demand, directed mainly at companies that produce cookies, breads and sweets in the country.
It is the result of grinding semi-hard wheat and its wide spectrum of use allows it to be used both for confectionery and for baking, in its different varieties. As an additional value, it is fortified with vitamins and minerals.
Available in presentations of 1, 5, 10 and 50 kg.

POLVO DE PLATA
It is a wheat flour derived from the milling of durum wheat, is functional for all types of breads and has been successfully introduced in the domestic market, mainly for the tourism sector.
Classified as a strong flour, Polvo de Plata is ideal for bread making thanks to its good kneading tolerance, strength, high yield, tenacity and balanced elasticity, in addition to its high protein quality which results in a satisfactory final product expressed in good volume, uniformity of the crumb, golden and crunchy crust that combines with the white texture of the crumb. It is fortified with a mix of vitamins and minerals.
Available in 50 kg packages.

This is the youngest product in our catalogue and is identified with the IMSA brand. Designed to provide both the industrial baker and the home consumer with greater simplicity, time saving and the quality of a product with high added value.
Introducing wheat flour premixes for the production of arepas, pizza base, wholemeal bread and baguette bread, products with excellent performance, uniform quality and ease in the production process. Now it’s easier than ever.

WHEAT SEMOLINA

DIAMELA
We stand out for being the only producers of semolina in Cuba. Since 2008, when this line was installed, we have managed to replace 100% of the imports of this raw material, and we have reached all the companies producing long, short and fresh pasta in Cuba. In addition, our wheat semolina allows us to produce pasta of exportable quality.
Under the DIAMELA brand, wheat semolina is the basic ingredient for the production of pasta. We have two quality standards, 100% durum wheat and a mixture of 50% durum wheat and 50% bread wheat.
As an added value, IMSA also sells DIAMELA wheat semolina in bulk, ensuring delivery with its own transport. The hoppers, specialised equipment for bulk distribution, allow us to load directly from the manufacturing silos and unload in the warehouses of the client’s factories, which prevents the product from being handled by human hands, in accordance with food safety requirements. Available in 50, 800 and 900 kg presentations.
